At 24, I discovered the Japanese philosophy of kaizen – the principle and practice of continuous improvement – and my life was never the same. An unquenchable hunger for knowledge of ancient wisdom was ignited. I haven’t stopped searching and applying the lessons since. A deep-seated desire to share this with as many people as I could was sparked…
I breathe, live and embody development with a particular focus in personal and socio-economic development, specialising in youth and women. I work with individuals, organisations; and different types and sizes of groups in Africa.
I am a daughter. I am a sister. I am a wife. I am a mother. I am a mentor. I am a friend. My constant quest lies in finding balance in all these roles whilst being true to ME and allowing myself the space to pursue my life’s goals unapologetically.
I am an Independent Non-Executive Director, Board Advisor,
Consultant, Creative, Yoga Professional, Facilitator, Trainer, Coach and Activist.
I’m all about going ‘far’ and not ‘fast’, as expressed in the African Proverb
“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together”.
